The National Coordinator of the Defense Committees of the Fourth Transformation, Claudia Sheinbaum, participated in the 15th Congress of the Autonomous Confederation of Workers and Employees of Mexico (CATEM).
During the event, she garnered support from 194 organizations and unions across the country. CATEM announced its plan to establish 10,000 Labor Transformation Defense Committees to promote the actions of the Fourth Transformation (4T) in support of workers nationwide. “I am pleased to officially solidify this significant alliance with CATEM,” stated Claudia Sheinbaum.
Sheinbaum also made a commitment to advocate for labor rights. “I am dedicated to the workers of Mexico, assuring that we will persist in defending workers’ wages and labor benefits because we understand that when workers thrive, so do employers and the nation. Hence, the commitment is to continue working together,” added Sheinbaum.
