Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray have not faced each other on the court at the Brisbane International, but the old foe went at it during an off-court challenge. The veterans have both been knocked out of the ATP 250 tournament, but that didn’t stop them from going toe to toe.
In a video uploaded by the tournament on their X (formerly Twitter) account, Rafael Nadal can be seen contesting the ‘grip challenge’. Given how their rackets are the single most important thing for them, gripping them should prove to be a piece of cake for a professional tennis player.

When Nadal was put under the Test, the 22-time Grand Slam champion finished in just 25 seconds. The southpaw quipped while gripping his racket, ‘We need to analyze the quality, not only speed’.
When done, the legendary tennis player was informed that Murray had completed the challenge in just 11 seconds.
Nadal was having none of it, though, as he hilariously quipped, “But was everything perfect like me, or holes in the middle?”
