India vs Afghanistan Mohali T20I: Cricket enthusiasts in Mohali are in for a treat as the IS Bindra Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium gears up to host the first T20 International (T20I) match between India and Afghanistan on January 11. This clash will bring the thrill of floodlit cricket to the newly renovated venue.
For the first time, the Mohali stadium will embrace the excitement of a T20I clash amid the winter chill, promising an electrifying atmosphere for fans. Dilsher Khanna, the PCA secretary, announced that online ticket sales for the highly anticipated encounter will commence on January 5. Subsequently, from January 6 onwards, tickets will be available at various counters across the Tricity, including the PCA Stadium windows.
To make the event accessible to a broader audience, the PCA has introduced a student-friendly pricing strategy, with the lowest ticket priced at ₹100. The Indian and Afghanistan teams are expected to arrive in Mohali after January 8, with preparations in full swing for the showdown.
“We are thrilled to host the India-Afghanistan T20I tie next week. The preparations are going on in full swing. The PCA has renovated the stadium and also upgraded the facilities. We are expecting to have a housefull,” expressed Dilsher Khanna as per HT.
Online ticket sales will be facilitated through Paytm, starting January 5. The Mohali stadium, which successfully hosted an ODI between India and Australia a few months ago, is poised to provide an unforgettable experience for cricket enthusiasts.
