Claudia Sheinbaum, the National Coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation, participated in the 15th Congress of the Autonomous Confederation of Workers and Employees of Mexico (CATEM).
During the congress, she received the support of 194 organizations and unions from across the country.
Held at the Mexico City Arena, CATEM announced its plan to establish 10 thousand Committees for the Defense of Labor Transformation. These committees aim to raise awareness about the initiatives of the Fourth Transformation (4T) across the nation, with a specific focus on initiatives benefiting workers.
“I am pleased to formalize this significant partnership with CATEM,” said Claudia Sheinbaum at the event. She also reaffirmed her dedication to advocating for labor rights.
“I assure the workers of Mexico that we will persist in protecting wages and labor benefits because we understand that the well-being of workers contributes to the prosperity of employers and the nation.
