Retired Army Gen. Jack Keane has called on President Trump to take decisive action in order to break Tehran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz. In a recent interview on the “Cats & Cosby” radio show, Keane emphasized the need for the United States to prevent Iran from using its oil-carrying ships to reach their destinations, particularly in countries like China.
The Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway between Iran and Oman, is a vital shipping route for oil exports from the Middle East. It is estimated that nearly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply passes through this strategic chokepoint. However, in recent years, Iran has been using this crucial passage as a tool to assert its dominance and further its political agenda.
Gen. Keane, a highly respected military strategist and former Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, believes that it is imperative for the U.S. to take action and prevent Iran from controlling this vital waterway. Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran. Never threaten the United States again!”
