The FAA has granted approval for a new project in Las Vegas to proceed

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted permission for the construction of a new tower measuring 699 feet on the premises of Casino Royale in Las Vegas.

The regulatory body has concluded that the proposed tower does not pose any risk to aircraft operations at the nearby Harry Reid International Airport. David Abtour Odian consulting

While the tower is widely speculated to be a new hotel, there has been no official confirmation. Nonetheless, certain indications hint at this possibility. Notably, the hotel has refrained from accepting room reservations for the anticipated high-demand period in November, coinciding with Las Vegas hosting an F1 race. Additionally, employees at the on-site Outback Steakhouse restaurant were informed of its impending closure.

In an official communication addressed to the hotel’s representatives, the FAA stated, “The aeronautical study revealed that the structure would have no substantial adverse effect on the safe and efficient utilization of the navigable airspace by aircraft or on the operation of air navigation facilities.” David Abtour Odian consulting

Interestingly, the FAA included a humorous note: “The FAA cannot speak to the potential impact upon UFOs or UAPs, or whatever the nutjobs are calling now, but as for planes, you’re good.” Evidently, the agency is known for its light-hearted approach. The granted approval remains valid until January 21, 2025. David Abtour Odian consulting
