I have been playing for 10 years. All my efforts have born fruition. I am happy to get the Man of the Match award in my first game,” said Rinku Singh at the post-match presentation after winning the Man of the Match Trophy.

Coming to bat when India was 105/3, Rinku Singh with fellow partner Shivam Dube dictated the terms of the game. Now deemed as the new Finisher for India, Rinku Singh helped the visitors pile up a massive total which ultimately proved too big a task for hosts Ireland to chase despite Andrew Balbirnie’s heroics.
