TEAMGROUP MP44 M.2 PCIe Gen4x4 1TB SSD Review

There are currently many early PCIe 5.0 SSD products that are already being warmed up, which means that the mainstream PCIe 4.0 SSD may usher in an explosive period this year. After all, the popularity of the PCIe 4.0 computer platform has increased in the past two or three years. It’s very high, and PlayStation 5 players also have great market demand. In addition, the global memory chip market is going well. It is definitely a good time for consumers to buy PCIe 4.0 SSD this year.

Today I would like to share with you my experience using a new SSD product from TEAMGROUP – MP44 PCIe 4.0 1TB SSD. TEAMGROUP has launched a new MP44 series of M.2 SSD drives with PCIe Gen4x4 specifications for the consumer market in 2023. This series appeals to high performance and low thresholds, emphasizing high-cost performance and user-friendliness. It uses DRAMLess technology and does not use cache memory. There are entry-level MP44L series (2280), small-size MP44S (2230), and high-efficiency MP44 (2280).

The MP44L is a 5,000MB/s M.2 2280 SSD with a capacity of 250GB to 2TB. The MP44S is a 5,000MB/s M.2 2230 SSD product with a capacity of 1TB to 2TB. And the MP44 is 7,400MB/s M.2 2280 SSD with capacities from 512GB to 8TB. The arrival of the MP44 series can be said to meet the needs of low-, medium- and high-end users in the consumer market.
