Australian pacer Mitchell Starc & all-rounder Glenn Maxwell will not be feature in the first IND vs AUS ODI against India tomorrow as per reports. Australian skipper Pat Cummins confirmed that both players will not play in first ODI but will take part later in the series.
Some positive news on the injury front for Australia with Pat Cummins set to return for tomorrow's first ODI against India, and he's hopeful of playing all three matches in the series!

“Star is here but he won’t play tomorrow. But hopefully he will be available later on in the series. Same with Glenn Maxwell”, Cummins said in the press-conference ahead of IND vs AUS 1st ODI.
Meanwhile, batter Steve Smith, who also missed the South Africa tour due to a tendon injury on his left wrist, will return in Playing XI for 1st ODI.

Cricket Australia on Wednesday shared a video of Smith batting in nets. The veteran batter revealed that he spent 2 hours in nets and looks ready for the ODI series.
Starc reportedly had been suffering ‘groin soreness’ after travelling UK for the WTC Final and Ashes.

Meanwhile, Pat Cummins gave an update on his wrist injury and said that he feels better and will hopefully feature in all three games.
“I feel pretty good now. My wrist is healed and I am pretty much 100%. Hopefully, will play all three games”, Cummins said.
Notably, Cummins will be making his return in ODIs after 10 months. He last featured in the 50-over format in November last year. The skipper had travelled to South Africa for the ODIs but did not feature in a single game due to wrist injury.
